Greetings from a wet and windy Salvador ;

After 22 days at sea and 3700 miles of racing.  What do we have to show for it?  Fourth place, better than seventh, but not on the podium.  Higlights of the race:

- Started race well in very light conditions, plan was to head North to catch the SE trades early, however, headed into no winds!  The rest (except Mermerus) went further West and caught winds earlier.

- Crossed the Greenwich meridian in sixth place - horror!

- Showed our true colors in the 2nd half of the race, caught Thermopylae and later thrashed Chrysolite for a 4th place finish.

- Strong trades as we approach Salvador : Antiope, Ariel, Chrysolite, Mermerus, Serica and Thermopylae all rip their spinnakers, for once we keep ours intact!

- Lots of "Finn" whales playing around the boat in the moonlight.
