Mountains Southern Norway

Rent a rustic chalet in the high country of Norway. Located in the mountain resort of Ustaoset, halfway between Oslo and Bergen.

Ustaoset is accessible by train (3 1/2 hours) and car, and the hut is located two kilometers from the train station at 1100 metres above sea level.

Access to the hut is by car in Summer and by snowcat or skies in Winter.  For those looking for incredible scenery, rustic setting and great cross country skiing look no further.

The nearest ski lifts are located at Geilo, about 12 km by car. The property offers panoramic views of Southern Norway and is above the tree line.
